Join us for an interactive morning focused on all things “gut” and food!

But it does not have to be this way

In this workshop we will show you how, instead of treating the symptoms as they arise, you can tackle the root causes with five simple steps:

                                  Remove, Replace, Repopulate, Repair and Re-balance.

These five Rs will help you to remove the underlying factors to your gut issues, restore digestive health, dampen inflammation, and heal the gut for good aiding in long-lasting health. This information will be presented by Kerry, a certified Nutritional Therapist whose clinical practice, Nutri 360 (www.nutri-360.com), focuses on gut health and related disorders.

This workshop will be complemented with cooking demonstrations by Jason Fugard, our own professional chef. He will be creating mouth-watering dishes for each step of the 5 R programme that the whole family will love. He will be showing you tips and tricks to enhance the nutritional value and healing power of food, as well as talking us through the value of using these foods for gut health. You will be sampling and enjoying all dishes created as we go.

All dishes are gluten and dairy free. Allergies and intolerance's are addressed with alternative ingredient suggestions. Recipes will be based on fresh from the market ingredients.

Over the course of the morning we will be looking at:
  • Up-to date information to cover the key functional roles of the gastrointestinal system: digestion & absorption, immune balance, protection, elimination & the relationship between our DNA and our microbiome.
  • How impairments in any of these areas may lead to dysfunction in the body.
  • What microbiome and intolerance testing options are available and which are most effective
  • Common supplement and probiotic myths and misunderstandings- a challenging area to navigate- and how to select the best product from a myriad of choices for your specific requirements. 
Learn how to optimise your health through nutrition, lifestyle and mindful practice.

  During the cooking demo you'll be able to:        
  •   Discover exciting ways of using healthy products.
  •   Learn how to use everyday foods to help your gut .          
  •  Get tips, advice and inspiration on how to shop, prepare and cook healthy and unusual ingredients in your own home.
  •  Enjoy gut-cleansing and microbiome-boosting drinks and meal samples​​

You will receive a Digestive 'Reset' information to take home and help guide you on your gut health journey.
